WHAT IS A SOUTH AFRICAN CORPORATE VISA?

A Corporate Visa can be issued to those looking to employee a predetermined amount of foreign workers, and allows for employment of these workers for a limited period of time. They are issued to entities that are South African based and can be beneficial when wanting to employ a large number of foreign employees.

Once the Corporate Visa is approved, the Department of Home Affairs will issue the visa along with the authorization certificates to all foreign employees involved with the business.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR A CORPORATE VISA?

In order to apply for a Corporate Visa, it’s necessary to provide detailed job descriptions of the employees as well as compensation proposed for each employee. In addition, the following are also required:

1. Original passport.
2. Proposed employment contracts.
3. Original copy of bank payment/Electronic Fund Transfer receipt .
4. Appointment letter stating the need to employ the established amount of foreigners as well as South African citizens or permanent residents.
5. A responsibility to comply at all times with the provisions conditions of the permit.
